Not yet, but it’s just gone midday, and load #6 is in the machine. Load #1 should be just about dry, so I’m heading out now to bring it in. Tonight: Buffy-fest, while I fold and iron. I’m such a party animal!
I know, moving into Autumn means things take so long to dry on the line. I love bringing in the dry clothes, they smell lovely.
Cindy, there is no possible way that Autumn could mean longer drying times than this alleged “Summer”. It has rained almost non-stop here for the last three months. We’ve had exactly two days with temperatures above 30*C. I don’t know if this is the dreaded Climate Change, or just the area reverting to its natural state after nearly two decades of drought, but either way, I need to do something serious about under-cover line space.
