Are the voices in my head bothering you?

This project monotony monogamy is really paying off. One sock for a size twelve man’s foot in five days.

Now if I can just keep up the pace, with the siren song of Tofutsies ever in my ears: “Oh, Kate, Kaaaate. Forget that great clunky 8ply, come and knit me. See how fine and silky I am? Feel the way I slither through your fingers as you throw me around the needles. Just think of the light, airy, lacy socks I can become, and my pretty, pretty colours….”

    I find that the harder I try to stick to one project, the more I want to cast on new things. Then I start to resent the one thing I’m working on, so it’s better to just listen to the voices. Sometimes 😉
