Bamboo: Not Just For Pandas

15 Dec

Plan B is coming along nicely. The Bamboo yarn is soft and silky to the touch, beautiful to work with. I can’t believe how different the real yarn looks from the pics on the Cleckheaton website. If I had been going off those pics instead of fondling it in my LYS, I never would have bought it. This is how it really looks:

…and this is how it knits up:

That’s one pattern repeat down, two more and the handles to go, and the Christmas knitting is DONE, baby!

Lovely!! (Covet, covet!) – My children have low expectations of Christmas and when santa came to playgroup they were entranced – But too scared to ask for anything in particular -Yay – I have triumphed again over the power of marketing (but not for long, probably)

I bought some of this recently as well – like you, I was persuaded by the silkiness in the yarn store! I am not sure what to knit with it yet. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your purse!
