Baking up a storm.

18 Apr

Clockwise from top: Chocolate hedgehog slice, mocha brownie, choc chip gem, chocolate cheesecake brownie. A small sampler of what I baked today for the school’s cake stall tomorrow.

Hello?? Always-hungry pregnant lady over here, MUCH too far away to be able to go to your school’s cake stall. SO NOT FAIR.

(I bought Rocky Road ice cream at the market today–it’s finally getting warm enough–and told the kids to BACK OFF, Mama’s growing an ENTIRE person, they cannot have my ice cream!!!)

Ok, that’s just inciting massive brownie bust over here. Time to break out the dried cherries (or perhaps those big squishy fancy dried apricots, or maybe some prunes, or my standard dates) and make some seriously heart-stopping brownies. Also need new batch of bikkies – the never-ending anzacs are coming to the end of the (second enormous) tin. Will bake and blog.
Now show us some cardi action, dammit!!
