Proof of Life

1 Jan

A Knightly Knitter, actual and real, at my house! (that’s Kate on the right in the stripey shirt).

Kate and her family took a couple of days out of their Great Mainland Epic Adventure to stop in and visit with us. We spent pretty much the whole day yesterday sitting cross-legged on my living-room floor, knitting, drinking coffee/tea, talking, knitting, eating chocolate, talking, fondling yarn, knitting, discussing patterns, knitting, eating, talking, drinking wine, laughing at kidlet antics, and maybe doing a little knitting.

Particular thanks to Tech Support and the Man of Kate’s Dreams who took on the bulk of the child-wrangling so that we could pursue the above activities more or less unmolested.

It was very good.

Sound like a good time was had – though not, perhaps, by the menfolk! LOL

It was such fun to visit! I have some other photos, but out of the purest self-interest I am not going to share them!! Yours is by far the nicest.
