Here endeth the Christmas knitting.

8 Jan

Finally, only two weeks late, my in-laws have their Christmas socks.

Submitted for your approval; Misty MIL socks.

Pattern: Fancy Silk Sock for a Child of 5 or 6 Years, from KVS again (rav-links).

Sticks: 2.75mm Knitpicks classic circs, Magic Loop method.

String: Collinette Jitterbug, colour #66 “Mist”

Thoughts: What’s not to love? Great yarn + great colour + great pattern = great socks. MIL loves them, FIL loves his blue ones. Everybody’s happy.

Currently on the needles, a quickie pair of footies in that purple TOFUtsies that has always steadfastly refused to be socks (hah! Finally I have put my will upon them!), and a little bit of alpaca lace action. Pix soon.

Very pretty. What do the neighbors think when you’re out hanging socks in a tree? 🙂
