No words.

11 Feb

For the last few days, as I have watched the news and seen the death toll in Victoria rise, I have struggled to come up with something to say. To describe the fear for our friends and family in the affected area. Leaping out of bed at six o’clock in the morning to send text-messages to them asking if they are still there. The relief as we hear that they are all safe.

I can’t do it. I don’t have any words that would mean anything to the people hit by this horrible tragedy. So I will simply say this: We are thinking of you. We are praying for you. On a more pragmatic note, we are boxing up old clothes, baby things, soft toys, and canned food, and we are sending them where they will do some good.

Take care.
