Thursday weigh-in.

7 May
  • Weight: 84.7
  • BMI: 29
  • This week: gain of 200g
  • Total loss so far: 3.3kg

I had a gain this week, but I’m not worried. I know my body, and I know my cycle (most of the time). This is bloaty week again (and how fast did that come around? Sweartagod, somebody’s been jumping on the Fast Forward button on my life again!), so next week I’m on track to have a nice big loss with little to no effort (no, this is not Murphy-baiting, this is a simple acknowledgement of fact). I’m actually a little surprised that it’s only 200g – I didn’t exactly fall off the wagon this last week, but I did wobble quite alarmingly. With all the “fun and frolic” of getting the boys settled back in school and myself back to TAFE (read: an almost total neglect of my exercycle since Saturday), not to mention TWO entire birthday cakes for Sasquatch and a big, delicious roast chicken dinner for Tech Support’s parents on the weekend, I’m really pretty happy that it’s such a small gain.

ah so that explains me this week, too. Can it really make that much difference? I retain fluid like there’s no tomorrow.

Just came from pizza lunch [in a real pizzeria] so wouldn’t dare weigh myself!

Congratulations – I’d say you’re still on track!

Ok, if we’re confessing, I should admit to nibbling my hubby’s Lindt bunny – where ‘nibbling’ means ‘scoffing the entire thing over three evenings’.
And I was doing so well before that…
focusing on the healthy lifestyle – I walked up a 45*angle hill this morning and did not sit down. The dog did, so we went back down again. I’m looking at this (the up bit) as a good start.
