Desert Spice Socks

6 Oct

The Vital Statistics:
Arch Shaped Socks by Jen Showalter
Yarn: Collinette Jitterbug, colourway “Sahara”
Needles: 2.5mm Knitpicks nickel circular, Magic-Loop
Modifications: I continued the 3×2 rib down the instep, using the shaping to frame it.

DSCF0135I love these socks! They are very, very comfy, and the bias shaping really hugs the foot. The Jitterbug is always lovely to knit with, and the colours are just edible.

They look great! I have that colour in Jitterbug, I was going to do a scarf with it, but now I’m very tempted to do socks!

Beautiful socks, and I love the way you extended the ribbing onto the foot (must remember that for when I do that pattern, eventually).
