Incentive Program Mittens

The mittens are having a chat. Because that's what mittens do.

The Vital Statistics:
Cast On: 3rd August 2010
Finished: 18th October 2010
Pattern: Basic Top-down Mittens by Patti Pierce Stone (PDF)
Yarn: Patons Jet 12ply wool/alpaca, colour 9 (blue-green multi).
Needles: 5.5mm Knitpicks Options, magic loop
Modifications: None

He loves them to bits. So much so that he took them into his room last night when I sent him in to get his PJs on, and LOST ONE!!! While being very mature and sensible, of course. He certainly wasn’t doing anything as foolish as playing basketball with them. Because he would never do such a thing.

We found it this morning, and they are now safely put away in MY sock drawer, awaiting the onset of the cold weather next year. I think perhaps I’ll add a mitten string between now and then.

You’ve done much better on your incentive program mittens than I have done on my incentive program hoody for Hunter. Kudos to both you and the boy.
