What we’ve been doing.

We bought a house.

Four bedrooms on a 1/4 acre, with a humongous shed, room for dogs and chooks and a veggie garden.
We’re currently buried under a mountain of boxes, but as we sort things out I’ll share more pics.

Woot! Well done and welcome to the land of mortgage 🙂

I hope you enjoy playing in your house in that way that you really can’t when you’re a renter. I am assuming the fourth room is for the yarn yes?

Thanks, lovey. Yes, there will be “playing”: first up is a new stove in the kitchen – the existing one is ancient and decrepit, as in two working hot plates, no oven, no grill. It’s doing my head in not being able to bake! Thank god for the slow-cooker, is all I can say.

And, no, the fourth bedroom is Tech Support’s office. However, I do have plans for a space of my own – more on that later…

Thanks, Cindy! We’re already loving it here, and it’ll be even better once we’re all unpacked and organised. The boys are very excited because they are allowed to put posters up on their walls, and because they ride the bus to school now.

Oh, yes, a 13 yo with Asperger’s and a 10 yo with no concept of personal space; there’s a recipe for peaceful coexistence!

It’s beautiful! It looks like you have a lovely yard (for when the weather is nice enough to get out and enjoy it) and all of that backyard space? I’m envious!
hmm, as for your space – have you been watching Zeph’s progress recently???

I have! I’m suffering from near-terminal shed envy. And now you need to come back and visit again…
