We think they’re about a week old, and already they are just about bursting out of the tea-cup-sized nest.
Oh they are so cute and yes, they are large babies for the size of the nest!!!
Two days after I took that pic, they were gone, grown up and flown away.
And then maybe you can hang out the washing without worrying about Willy Wagtails!
Yes, a much more relaxed proposition now that the hysterical “chooch”-ings are over with.
Very cute, I’m so hoping that the nest stays there!
No, once the babies were gone, they dismantled the nest and used the materials to build a new one in a tree on the bush block behind us. The boys were disappointed, but I used it as a lesson in recycling.
